How to Make Indian Spicy Roti

  • Combine the flour with the spice and salt.
  • Add the cilantro leaves and mix well.
  • Add milk and a little water to knead it into a pliable dough.
  • It should neither be too soft and sticky nor too hard.
  • Keep it aside for 15 minutes and then divide the dough into small rounds.
  • Flatten them into a circular shape (or any shape you desire) by using a rolling pin on a floured surface.
  • Turn when brown spots start appearing. Cook further for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve hot, plain or with a little butter with any side dish made of gravy like channa masala etc.
