  • 3 bunches - Palak
  • 1 - Onion (chopped finely)
  • 1 tbsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 10 - Green chillies
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 2 tbsp - Cream
  • 1 tbsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tbsp - kasuri Methi (dry Fenugreek leaves)
  • 500g - diced Paneer
  • 2 big - Tomatoes (chopped finely)
  • How to Make Indian style Palak paneer:

    1. Clean and wash the palak nicely.
    2. Chop palak and boil it. Add chopped green chillies and boil it for 10 mins.
    3. Cool and grind it to a fine paste.
    4. Roast kasuri methi on a tawa for half-a-minute and powder it by rubbing it between your palms.
    5. In a kadai, fry onions till they are brown in colour.
    6. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry it for some time.
    7. Add chopped tomatoes and fry till the oil shows up on top.
    8. Add palak paste and kasuri methi and fry it.
    9. Add milk, garam masala powder and 2 tbsp of cream and diced paneer to it.
    10. Add salt. Cook for 5 mins.
    11. Before serving, add 1 tbsp of butter (optional).
    12. Serve it hot with parathas or naans.
