  • 200 gm - whole skinned urud dal
  • 150 gm - idli Rice (parboiled Rice)
  • 200 gm - Sugar
  • oil to fry
  • How to Make Inippu Vadai (Sweet Wada):

    1. Soak the idli rice for 30 mins and urud daal for 15 mins separately.
    2. Grind rice till smooth without adding much of water. Remove and keep aside.
    3. Drain daal.
    4. Grind to a paste adding the sugar little at a time.
    5. Do not add water.
    6. Now add the rice batter to the grinder and grind along with the urud dal batter till its thoroughly mixed.
    7. Heat oil in kadai.
    8. Take a little quantity of batter - lime sized- and flatten it as for vadas.
    9. Deep fry.
