  • 1 small bowl- besan
  • 1 small bowl -water
  • 1 tsp -salt
  • 1/2 tbsp- Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp -oil
  • 1 tbsp -eno fruit salt
  • Tempering
  • 1 tsp -mustard seeds (rai)
  • 2 -sliced Green chillies
  • A few Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp -sugar
  • 2 tbsp -lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup- water
  • 1 tbsp -oil
  • 2 tbsp -chopped coriander
  • 1 table spoon- grated Coconut
  • How to Make Instant Dhokla:

    1. Mix together besan, salt, oil, lemon juice and water.
    2. In a pressure cooker or a big vessel, put a glass water and keep a mesh upside down.
    3. Grease a baking dish (it should fit in the vessel or cooker).
    4. Now add Eno and mix well and pour this mixture right away in the greased pan.
    5. Steam it for 20 minutes.
    6. Prepare the tempering adding rai, green chillies and curry leaves in hot oil.
    7. Mix together water, sugar and lemon juice, and pour into tempering and boil it.
    8. Take out the dhokla and cut into pieces.
    9. Pour the tempering mixture over it.
    10. Garnish with grated coconut and coriander.
