  • 4 - crushed garlic pods
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - tamarind paste
  • 1 tsp - rasam powder
  • 1 cup - water
  • A pinch - asafoetida
  • A pinch - turmeric
  • 1 tsp - finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - oil

How to Make Instant Garlic Rasam

  • Heat the oil in a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds add dry red chillies, curry leaves and add all the other ingredients with salt and bring to a boil.
