Ingredients

  • 2 tsp - salt
  • 4 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 tsp - Lime juice
  • 2 cups - besan
  • 1 tbsp -oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp - soda
  • Curd - 1 tbsp
  • For seasoning:
  • Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • Sesame seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • A few - Curry leaves

How to Make Instant khaman dhokla

  • Mix besan, oil, salt, sugar, chilli powder, lemon juice, curd and then add boiled water enough to make a thick paste.
  • Add soda bicarb and mix well.
  • Take a vessel that can fit into a pressure cooker and grease it.
  • Steam cook for 15 minutes till done.
  • Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard, add curry leaves sesame seeds and green chillies and fry for a few minutes.
  • Cut the khaman into squares and pour the seasoning over the khaman.
