Ingredients

  • 2 cup - besan
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - sugar
  • 1 tsp - citric acid
  • 1 tsp - Eno
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 5-6 - green chillies
  • 1 cup - sugared water
  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut
  • 1 bunch - coriander leaves

How to Make Instant Khaman

  • In a pressure cooker, boil water and keep it ready to steam the khaman.
  • Mix the first five ingredients with water and make a smooth batter.
  • Pour the batter into a greased thali and keep it in the cooker.
  • Cook it for 10 minutes without using the whistle.
  • Let it cool for a 5 - 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds.
  • When they pop, add chopped green chillies and sugared water.
  • Pour the oil over the khaman.
  • Cut into pieces and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut.
