  • 250 g Fresh Tomatoes
  • 4 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 small cup oil
  • How to Make Instant Tomato Chutney:

    1. Chop tomatoes into very fine pieces.
    2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and when they split, add asafoetida, turmeric powder and the chopped tomatoes.
    3. Mix for a while and add salt.
    4. When it is cooked, add chilli powder and mix thoroughly.
    5. The oil should form a layer on the chutney.
