  • 1 cup - Wheat Flour
  • 1.5 to 2 cups - Sugar (or to taste)
  • 3/4 cup - Ghee
  • 2 cups - Water
  • A few - Cashewnuts
  • Cardamom powder
  • A pinch - Lemon yellow food colour

How to Make Instant Wheat Halwa

  • Add 2 cups of boiling hot water to sugar and keep aside.
  • Fry the cashewnuts in ghee a little and then add the wheat flour and fry till golden brown.
  • When the wheat flour is done, gradually add the sugary hot water and mix well.
  • Then add cardamom powder and the colour.
  • Keep stirring till it leaves the sides.
  • Grease a plate with a little ghee and pour this mixture onto the plate.
  • Cut into pieces when it cools.
