Ingredients

  • ripe jack fruit - 2 cup, chopped
  • semolina - 2 tbsp
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp
  • jaggery powder - 3/4 cup
  • thick coconut milk - 300 ml
  • cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp

How to Make Jack Fruit Kheer

  • Roast semolina with Ghee till light brown and reserve.
  • Add about 1 litre of water to jack fruit and simmer till the fruit is soft but not mushy.
  • Sprinkle the semolina, simmer till it cooks and the mixture is slightly thick.
  • Add jaggery and simmer for 5 more minutes.
  • Add the coconut milk, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add cardamom powder. Serve hot or cold.
