Ingredients

  • 250 g - jackfruit, cut in cubes
  • 1.5 cup - onion, chopped
  • 2 cup - tomato, chopped
  • 2 tsp - green chilli, chopped
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • A hand full - chopped coriander
  • 2 tbsp - vegetable oil
  • Vegetable oil for frying

How to Make Jackfruit sabz-masala

  • Fry jackfruit cubes till golden colour and drain on paper towel and keep it aside.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add onions and saute for 1 minute.
  • Add all spices and salt except garam masala.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes and chillies, stir and add fried jackfruit cubes to it.
  • Cover and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  • Open the lid and cook for another 5 minutes till oil separates.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and garam masala.
  • Serve hot.
