Ingredients

  • 2 cups - cabbage, shredded thinly
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - asafetida powder
  • 1 tbsp - chopped Coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • 1/4 tsp - Sugar
  • Oil
  • How to Make Jain Cabbage Sabji:

    1. Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds and asafoetida powder.
    2. Add the chopped tomatoes, green chillies and saute for few mins.
    3. Add finely shredded cabbage with chilli powder, salt and mix well
    4. Cook for few minutes and add sugar
    5. Simmer for few minutes, add finally the coriander leaves and remove from stove.
    6. Serve.
