  • 4 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - flour
  • 1/4 cup - Corn flour
  • 1/4 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - vanilla essence
  • Food color, rose and green
  • Strawberry Jam
  • Confectioner's sugar, for dusting
  • How to Make Jam Swiss Roll:

    1. Preheat the oven to 250 degree F.
    2. Separate the eggs whites and egg yolks.
    3. Sieve together the flours, baking powder and keep aside.
    4. Beat the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl until they turn creamy.
    5. Add the sieved flours and vanilla essence slowly and mix everything well.
    6. Meanwhile beat the egg whites separately with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
    7. Gently fold the egg whites to the already prepared flour mixture and mix well.
    8. Divide the batter into three equal parts and take in a bowl. Colour one with rose food colour and another with green colour.
    9. Pour the batter side by side in a 10x15 inch jelly roll pan lined with greased baking paper.
    10. With a tooth pick, make some swirls in the batter and bake for 15 mins and immediately roll the Bake cake in a slightly wet towel to cool.
    11. Spread generously the strawberry jam and roll it tightly, cover the roll with a cling wrap and refrigerate for an hour in fridge.
    12. Dust generously with the confectioner's sugar.
    13. Slice and serve
