Ingredients

  • 1 tsp- Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp- Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 large Onions (chopped )
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 Carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 Green Pepper, chopped
  • 1 tbsp- dark Soya Sauce
  • 1/2 stick of Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp- Red Chilli powder
  • 3 cups- Cooked Rice (jasmine Rice preferred)

How to Make Japanese Fried Rice

  • In a thick bottom pan, heat butter and add ginger garlic and onions. Saute until soft. Add carrot and green pepper and saute further.
  • Break in eggs and cook scrambled with vegetables until golden brown.
  • Fold in cooked rice with soy sauce, salt, chilli, powder and pepper.
  • Fry the rice in the mixture for a few minutes. Serve hot.
