  • 1 cup - Rice flour
  • 1 cup - Jaggery
  • 1 cup - Coconut Milk
  • 3 cups - water
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp - Raisins
  • 1 tbsp - chopped cashews
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • How to Make Jaradi Payasa:

    1. Take the rice flour in a bowl and add a pinch of salt.
    2. Make a thick paste of pouring consistency by adding a little water to the flour. Keep aside.
    3. Heat a medium-sized vessel on a stove. Pour the remaining water to it, add jaggery, mix and bring to a boil.
    4. Strain the jaggery syrup.
    5. Add this to the flour mixture.
    6. Keep a pan on medium heat and add the jaggery-flour mixture and cook for 5 minutes.
    7. Finally add coconut milk and cardamom powder.
    8. Cook for 2 minutes while stirring continuously.
    9. Remove from heat, swirl a tbsp of ghee, garnish with raisins and cashews and serve.
