Ingredients

  • 4 - medium sized or 3 large Tomatoes
  • 1/4 tbsp - Cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp - Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chilli powder (optional)
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • 1/2 tbsp - cumin powder
  • 1/2 cup - water (optional)
  • How to Make Jatphat Tomato Soup:

    1. Microwave the tomatoes for 5 mins.
    2. Peel them off and along with all the ingredients except butter blend it till no more lumps of tomato remain in food processor.
    3. In a cooking pan take butter and add the blended mixture to it.
    4. Simmer for a few minutes.
    5. Add a little water to get the desired consistency.
    6. Remove from the pan and filter it to get a smooth soup.
    7. Serve it hot before dinner or lunch.
