Ingredients

  • 2 cups - chicken pieces
  • 1/2 cup - onion, chopped
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp - fennel seed powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper powder
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder, roasted and powdered
  • 2 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • Salt
  • Oil

How to Make Jeera Chicken Roast

  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter the cumin seeds
  • Add the chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, ginger paste, garlic paste and stir everything for a while until the onions turn translucent and raw smells disappears.
  • Add the chicken pieces with enough salt and stir for a while
  • Now add the fennel seed powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, pepper powder, roasted cumin powder and stir again and simmer.
  • Cook well until the chicken pieces get cooked and the oil separates.
  • Add the chopped coriander leaves and remove from stove
  • Serve hot.
