Ingredients

  • 1 cup - basmati Rice
  • 1 spoon - Ghee
  • 1 tbsp - Jeera
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1/2 tsp - Ginger and Garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup - peas
  • 2 cups - water
  • Salt, to taste
  • How to Make Jeera Peas Pulav:

    1. Soak basmati rice in water for about 20 minutes and later strain it and keep aside.
    2. Take a kadai/wok. Heat a little ghee and fry jeera, ginger garlic paste and onion.
    3. Once onions begin to brown, add the peas and fry for a few minutes.
    4. Now ad the basmati rice. Mix everything well, add some salt and add the water.
    5. Boil it, then lower the flame and cook for about 15 minutes.
    6. When done you should get a nice aroma.
    7. Serve it with raita, or any gravy vegetable.
