Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - Basmati Rice
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 tbsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 cup - Onion paste
  • 1 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup - Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 tsp -Ajinomoto
  • 2 pieces - Cloves, Cinnamon, Cardamom
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Jeera Pulav:

    1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashew nuts till golden brown.
    2. Remove and keep aside.
    3. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, ajinomoto, onion paste, ginger garlic paste, rice, salt and 3 cups of water and cook till done.
    4. Finally sprinkle fried nuts over the rice.
    5. Serve with raita or aloo korma.
