Ingredients

  • 1 packet jelly (your choice)
  • 1 cup - cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup - carrot, chopped
  • 1 sprig onion, chopped fine
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 small capsicum, chopped
  • 1 Apple
  • 2 Pineapple slices
  • 1/2 tbsp - coriander, chopped fine
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - ground Sugar
  • 1 tsp - white Vinegar
  • How to Make Jelly Salad:

    1. Set jelly as per instructions on packet.
    2. Meanwhile, place a salad bowl in the fridge to chill.
    3. When jelly is well-set, cut into tiny cubes.
    4. Remove the bowl from fridge. Chop apple and pineapple.
    5. Fill it with cabbage, carrot, capsicum, apple, pineapple, and spring onion.
    6. Sprinkle salt, pepper, vinegar and sugar. Add jelly pieces.
    7. Toss with chopsticks or fork.
    8. Garnish with slices of tomato and coriander.
    9. Serve chilled.
