Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Broccoli florets
  • 1 - medium sized onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp - crushed Garlic
  • 2 or 3 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • A pinch - Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp - Cumin seeds
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Salt - to taste
  • How to Make Jhatpat Broccoli:

    1. Microwave the broccoli florets till they lose their rawness and become slightly soft.
    2. Heat oil in pan, add cumin seeds.
    3. After the seeds splutter, add the chopped onion and crushed garlic.
    4. Fry till onion becomes transparent.
    5. Add the chopped green chillies.
    6. Add the broccoli florets, mix well and cover and steam the mixture for about 5 minutes on medium flame.
    7. Remove the cover, add the garam masala, salt and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
    8. Serve hot with chapatis.
