Ingredients

  • 500 g - paneer
  • 300 g - boiled and mashed peas
  • 1 to 2 tsp - gram flour
  • 1 to 2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • Salt
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric
  • 1 onion, finely chopped,
  • Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste

How to Make Jhatpat Paneer Mutter Kofta

  • In a wok, heat oil and fry the onions to a golden brown.
  • When at room temperature, grind to a soft paste.
  • In a bowl, crush the paneer and mix in mashed peas.
  • Add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric, garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix all of these thoroughly and make small balls.
  • Deep fry these balls and keep aside.
  • In a separate pan, heat oil and add the onion paste
  • Fry for a while, add coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste and red chilli powder and fry.
  • Add some water and cook until a thick gravy of medium consistency is formed.
  • To this, add the fried koftas/balls.
  • Serve with paranthas or rice.
