Ingredients

  • 2 cups - poha flakes
  • 1/2 cup - frozen green peas
  • 1/4 cup - sweet corn
  • 1/2 cup - carrots, chopped
  • A few - curry leaves
  • 1 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 3/4 tsp - garam masala
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice

How to Make Jhatpat Poha

  • Heat enough oil, splutter the cumin seeds and curry leaves, add the chopped carrots, frozen green peas and sweet corn, chopped green chillies and saute for a few minutes until the vegetables turns soft.
  • Meanwhile wash the rice flakes with water and drain water and keep aside.
  • Now add the washed poha, garam masala and salt and cook for few more minutes.
  • Finally add the lemon juice stir well and serve.
