Ingredients

  • 6 slices - white/wheat bread
  • 1 tbsp - salsa
  • 1 tbsp - grated cheese (mozzarella, cheddar or combo)
  • 1 - small onion
  • Cilantro and sour cream for garnish

How to Make Jhatpat Snack

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degree F.
  • Slice off the edges of the bread and cut 4 squares out of each slice.
  • Arrange them on a cookie sheet or an oven-safe tray.
  • With a small spoon, put little bit of salsa on each piece.
  • Sprinkle grated cheese.
  • Heat in the oven for about 12-15 mins or till the cheese melts and browns a bit.
  • Remove and garnish with finely chopped onion, cilantro and a dash of sour cream (optional) and serve.
