Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Marula Fish
  • 250 g - Jhinge (Prawns), cut into long pieces of at least 1 inch
  • Salt and Turmeric for taste and colour
  • 1 - Onion, chopped finely
  • 5-6 - slit Green chillies
  • 1 small bunch - Coriander leaves.
  • 100 g - Mustard oil
  • 1 tsp - Kala jeera

How to Make

  • Clean the fish and marinate with 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp salt.
  • Heat the oil in a kadai, add kala jeera to splutter.
  • Then add the onion and chillies. Saute well.
  • Add the jhinge with bit of salt and turmeric (1 pinch), and stir fry.
  • Put the fish in it and saute it on low flame
  • Put 1/2 cup of hot water and let it boil.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves and simmer it for some time
  • Serve it with rice.
