Ingredients

  • 250 g - jujubes, sun dried
  • 1/2 cup - Panch phoron, roasted and powdered
  • 5 tbsp - Sugar (or to taste)
  • 2 tsp - salt (or to taste)
  • To taste - chilli powder
  • As required - Mustard oil
  • How to Make Jola-Mitha Bogori Asaar:

    1. Heat mustard oil. Lower the heat. Add the jujubes after a minute or so.
    2. Add sugar and salt. Mix well
    3. Stir occasionally and when the sugar melts completely, add the panch phoron and chilli powder.
    4. Mix well again and turn the heat off.
    5. Store in an airtight container when it cools.
