  • 25 - gelatin sheets, cut as thin strips
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - water
  • 1/2 cup - Orange juice, fresh and thick
  • Orange food color as per need
  • Sugar for coating
  • Butter to grease the mold
  • How to Make Jujubes Candies:

    1. Heat water, sugar and gelatine in a heavy bottomed pan, stir continuously until the mixture turns into transparent syrup.
    2. Add the orange juice and orange food colour to the syrup, stir well
    3. Meanwhile grease a mould with butter, pour this gelatine-sugar syrup into the greased mould and cool at least for 5-6 hours
    4. Remove the candies from the mould and roll them in sugar and keep them aside for an hour
    5. Arrange them in an air tight box.
