Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup - besan
  • 2 - Onions
  • 6 - Green chillies
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tsp - Jeera
  • How to Make Junka:

    1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, jeera and green chillies and fry.
    2. When they splutter, add chopped onions, water and cook.
    3. Meanwhile mix besan in water to get the consistency of buttermilk.
    4. Add the besan mix to the cooked onions.
    5. Add salt.
    6. Boil for approximately 10 minutes till desired consistency is reached and till raw taste of besan vanishes.
    7. Serve hot with rotis or puris.
