How to Make Kaara Chutney

  • Grind the chillies in a mixer until it becomes paste-like.
  • Cut onions, tomatoes and garlic into very small pieces.
  • Pour 2 spoons of oil in a kadai and fry the ground chillies.
  • Put the onion, garlic and tomatoes in it.
  • Stir it until it boils.
  • Put salt and sugar and add the tamarind water.
  • After 2 minutes, remove and put the chutney in a container.
  • Pour 1 spoon of gingili oil and stir with a spoon.
  • This can be taken with idly dosa.
