  • 2 cups - Toor dal
  • 2 cups - Jaggery (powdered)
  • 2 - Cardamoms
  • 1 cup - All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp - Oil
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Water
  • A pinch of salt

How to Make Kadabus

  • Add some water to the flour along with 2 tsps oil and salt. Knead well. Keep aside for 3-4 hours.
  • Boil water and add the Toor dal.
  • When it is half cooked, add powdered jaggery and the cardamoms.
  • Cook well and grind when it is still warm.
  • Make small balls from the maida dough.
  • Flatten them on your palm. Put some sweet stuffing inside and cover.
  • Deep fry till done. Serve hot.
