1/2 piece tender breadfruit / lanthe gudgo / kadachakka, peeled and cut into cubes or desired shape and size
1 kudampuli (darmbyasole)
1/2 tsp - salt (or to taste)
3-4 tsp - massolu
How to Make Kadachakka - Breadfruit - Lanthe Gudgo:
Boil toor dal in 1.5 cups water with oil and turmeric powder in pressure cooker for 20 minutes (reduce the heat after 2nd whistle and cook for 15 minutes).
In a wide bowl, take cooked dal (along with stock), kadachakka pieces, salt and kudampuli.
Cover with a lid and cook on a low to medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until kadachakka pieces are almost cooked.
Add 3-4 tsp coconut paste / massolu (you can dilute massolu with 4 tsps water before adding so that it will mix easily with dal) and cook on a low heat for 10-12 minutes (do not add extra water). Serve with Rice / Polo / Idli / Santhan / Hittu.
