Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Chana dal
  • 1/4 cup - Rice
  • 1/4 cup - moong dal
  • 1/2 cup - coriander and curry leaves, chopped
  • 2 to 3 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • How to Make Kadale Bele Nuchchunde:

    1. Soak chana dal, rice and moong dal for 2-3 hours.
    2. Drain the water and half-grind the soaked mixture along with chilli and ginger.
    3. Add a little water while grinding.
    4. Mix the sugar and chopped coriander and curry leaves into the ground mixture.
    5. Take the mixture in your hand and make a ball of it.
    6. Flatten the balls.
    7. Apply a little ghee on a plate.
    8. Place all the balls in it.
    9. Steam it for 10 minutes.
    10. Remove from fire after 2 minutes.
    11. Serve with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.
