  • 2 cups - kaddu grated (green pumpkin)
  • 1 litre - milk
  • 1/2 tin - condensed milk
  • 1 cup - sugar
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup - saboodana (this should be soaked in water for 10-15 mins)

How to Make Kaddu Ki Kheer

  • Boil the milk.
  • Add grated kaddu and cook on medium flame till the kaddu is tender.
  • Then add condensed milk and mix well.
  • Add the sugar and mix till the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the soaked saboodana and mix well.
  • Cook for another 10 mins.
  • Switch off the stove and let this cool.
  • Add vanilla essence, put this in a bowl and keep in fridge to cool.
