How to Make Kaddu Kofta

  • Grate lauki and squeeze the water from it.
  • Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add tomato puree and stir till it leaves oil.
  • Add onion paste.
  • Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, cashew powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt to taste.
  • Add besan to lauki, green chilli paste, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, salt, and soda.
  • Knead it and make balls out of it.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry.
  • Add the fried kofta to gravy and garnish with fresh coriander.
  • Serve hot.
