Ingredients

  • 200 g - Paneer cheese
  • 1 - Capsicum
  • 1 - tomato, diced
  • 1 - onion, diced
  • 5 g - fresh coriander, diced
  • 2 - Red Chillies (halved)
  • Pinch of Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 50 g - Cashew nut paste (blended with water)
  • 50 ml - Cream
  • 2 Cloves - Garlic
  • ground to a paste
  • 2 cm - Ginger
  • Ground to a paste
  • 50 g - Tomato paste
  • 25 ml (2 tbsp -) cooking oil
  • 5 g - chopped fresh coriander to garnish.
  • How to Make Kadhai Paneer Cottage Cheese:

    1. Cut paneer into strips, similar to french fries.
    2. Heat oil so that it sizzles when you add a few cumin seeds.
    3. Add coriander, red chillies and paneer cheese.
    4. Cook for 5 mins, then add diced onion, fresh tomato and capsicum, followed by the remaining ingredients.
    5. Heat everything thoroughly, for 5 more mins.
    6. Garnish dish with coriander and serve with rice or tandoori nan.
