Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - sugar
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1 cup - cashew nut, finely powdered

How to Make Kaju Kathli

  • Combine sugar with water. Keep aside for 15 minutes. Stir well.
  • Cook on full power uncovered 6 to 8 minutes, stirring 3 times. The syrup must form a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
  • Add 1 cup cashew powder. Beat till it is a thick lump.
  • If the mixture does not thicken after beating for 3 to 4 minutes, cook the mixture for 2 more minutes and beat again.
  • Spread thinly on a greased surface, cool and cut into pieces.
