Ingredients

  • 2 large - Onions, chopped
  • 250 gms - Chick pea flour
  • 2 tbsp - Ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Baking powder
  • 20 - Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • 2 tbsp - Rice powder
  • 6 tbsp - Cashewnuts, broken
  • 3 - Green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

How to Make Kaju Onion Bhajiyas

  • Mix all the ingredients, except the oil for deep frying together in a bowl.
  • Add a little water to make a batter of coating consistency.
  • Mix batter by hand for at least 3-4 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai (wok) and drop batter, a teaspoon at a time.
  • Fry about 8-10 bhajiyas at a time on medium heat until golden brown.
