How to Make Kala Jamun

  • Grate khoya and paneer.
  • Add in refined flour, a little milk and knead to make a soft dough.
  • Cover with a wet cloth and leave it for half an hour.
  • Boil sugar and water to make a syrup of one-spring consistency and add cardamom powder.
  • Make small balls of equal size with the dough with one raisin and a small piece of misri in the centre.
  • Heat ghee in a frying pan, deep fry the balls on low heat till golden in colour.
  • Add to the sugar syrup. Serve after 1 hour.
