How to Make Kale Palya

  • Cook tuvar dal in pressure cooker.
  • In a pan, heat oil, add mustard, jeera, chana dal and urad dal.
  • Fry till the dal turns golden brown.
  • Now add green chillies and chopped kale leaves.
  • Keep stirring till the leaves wilt completely.
  • Add the cooked dal and salt.
  • Cook covered for at least 40 minutes or until the leaves are cooked well.
  • Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with rice or chapatti.
