How to Make Kambu adai

  • Soak pearl millet, channa dal, tur dal and urad dal in water for about 2 hours.
  • Drain the water and add a pinch of hing and red chilli.
  • Grind all the dals and pearl millet to a coarse paste. Add water if required.
  • Add curry leaves to the batter.
  • Heat oil on a tawa.
  • Take a ladleful of batter and pour on to the tawa.
  • Drizzle oil on the sides.
  • Fry both sides till they turn golden brown and serve hot.
