Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Pearl millet
  • 1 cup - idli Rice
  • 1/2 cup - whole Urad Dal skinned
  • 1/2 tsp - Fenugreek seeds
  • Salt
  • How to Make Kambu idli:

    1. Wash and soak the pearl millet, idli rice and urad dal with fenugreek seeds separately for 4 hours.
    2. Grind to a bit coarse paste, add enough salt and keep overnight for fermentation
    3. Steam in greased idly moulds for 10 - 15 mins.
