  • 1 cup - kambu (pearl millet)
  • 1/4 cup - Urad Dal
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Kambu (Pearl Millet) Dosa:

    1. Soak the kambu (pearl millet) in a vessel and soak the urad dal separately in another vessel for about 4 hours.
    2. Drain the water from kambu (pearl millet) and grind it nicely in a mixer.
    3. Drain the water from urad dal and grind it nicely in a mixer.
    4. Mix both the ground batter and add required salt.
    5. Allow it to ferment overnight.
    6. Heat a tawa/griddle, take a ladle full of batter and pour in as dosa, spray some oil and cook other side.
    7. The Kambu (Pearl Millet) Dosa is ready to serve with coconut chutney.
