How to Make Kane Curry (Ladyfish)

  • Scrape the coconut.
  • Grind it with red chilli powder, coriander powder, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, fenugreek, turmeric powder and tamarind into a fine paste.
  • In a pan, heat oil and fry sliced green chillies and onions.
  • Fry the ground masala in the same oil.
  • Add a little water to make curry. Add salt to taste.
  • When the masala is properly cooked, put the washed and cleaned Kane (ladyfish) in the curry and simmer it for three or four minutes.
