Ingredients

  • Karamani - 1/2 cup, boiled
  • Big Onion - 2
  • Garlic - 2
  • Saunf - 1 tsp
  • Red Chillies - 4
  • Tomato - 1
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander - chopped
  • For Seasoning:
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp - Jeera
  • Grind Together:
  • Onion - 1
  • 3 - Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp - Saunf
  • 4 - Red Chillies
  • How to Make Karamani Masala:

    1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and jeera. When the mustard splutters, add chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
    2. Add ground masala, fry until the raw smell goes.
    3. Add turmeric powder and salt, fry for a minute.
    4. Add the boiled karamani to the gravy after mashing the karamani a little.
    5. Add enough water to get required consistency
    6. When the water starts to boil, add chopped tomatoes, chopped coriander, close the lid and let it boil for 2-3 minutes. Serve.
