Ingredients

  • 1 - Karela (chopped into small pieces)
  • Tamarind - size of 1/2 a Lemon
  • 2 - Green chilli
  • Jaggery/sugar
  • Salt
  • Seasoning:
  • 1 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1 - Red Chilli
  • Curry leaves - lots
  • How to Make Karela Chutney:

    1. Put all the ingredients in the blender and coarsely grind it.
    2. In a skillet, heat the oil and throw the seasoning items and once the mustard pops, add the ground karela and leave it for a couple of minutes.
