Ingredients

  • 10-12 - Karela (Kakarakai) medium size
  • 50 gms- roasted gram(putnalu)
  • 50 gms- roasted groundnut
  • 150 gms- Idly karampodi
  • 5 gms- curry leaf Powder
  • A pinch - Haldi
  • Salt as per taste
  • A pinch - Pepper Powder
  • Oil to Fry

How to Make Karela Stuffed

  • Powder gram and groundnut.
  • Add idly karam podi, curry leaf powder.
  • Mix all the powders in a plate adding salt and haldi.
  • Cut the kakarakai from the middle and slit it.
  • Remove seeds and stuff with the prepared powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and let it splutter.
  • Add the stufffed karela into the pan and deep fry till the karela turns to golden brown colur.
  • Enjoy with rice and rasam.
