How to Make Karunai Kizhangu Pakodas

  • Cut yam into bite size pieces.
  • Heat enough water in a pan, add the yam cubes and turmeric powder and cook till soft
  • Drain the water, keep aside.
  • Grind coarsely the fennel seeds and garlic pods.
  • Add the ground paste, red chilli powder, gram flour, corn flour and rice flour with a little water to coat cooked yam.
  • Heat oil in a pan, Deep Fried the yam pieces in small batches, drain the excess of oil in a tissue paper and serve hot
