Ingredients

  • 800gm - Fish
  • 200gm - Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 10gm - Turmeric powder
  • 50gm - Salt
  • 20gm - Ginger
  • 20gm - Garlic
  • 4 Lemon
  • 20gm - Fennel/Saunf
  • 20gm - cumin
  • Oil for frying
  • 500 g - Curry leaves
  • How to Make Karuvepillai meen varavul:

    1. Marinate the fish with the spices.
    2. Keep aside for 1 hour and then shallow fry with some oil.
    3. Before frying, dust it with some curry leaves powder.
    4. Garnish with onion rings and fried curry leaves.
