How to Make Karuvepillai Podi - Curry Leaves Powder

  • Cut the left over idlis and keep aside
  • Dry roast the curry leaves, peppercorns, red chillies, cumin seeds and urad dal, dry grind them and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, add the urad dal and mustard seeds and splutter
  • Add the idli pieces and toss them gently for a while.
  • Add the ground powder as per need mix well and serve.
