Ingredients

  • Minced meat - 400 g
  • 3 - onions
  • 1 - tomato
  • 2 - potatoes
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • Green peas - 1/2 cup
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder, jeera powder, coriander powder, meat masala - 3/4 tsp each
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut powder -2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves

How to Make Keema

  • Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaves, garam masala and one chopped green chilly.
  • Heat a while and then add chopped onions. Saute onions with equal amounts (to taste) of garam masala, jeera powder and coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, chilly powder and meat masala.
  • Fry till the spices are cooked.
  • Add tomatoes and fry a while.
  • Add the meat and mix with the spices thoroughly.
  • Add potatoes, coconut powder and chilly powder.
  • Pour enough water and cook till tender.
  • Add green peas and cook for about 15-20 min.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
